Ashtanga yoga is the vinyasa process as created by K. Pattabhi Jois. The Primary Series is called yoga chikitas, meaning yoga therapy, because of the cleaning and toning effect it has on the body and mind. Come to learn more about this eight-limb process of traditional yoga using method of synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of 41 asanas, and the use of drishti. These 3 elements being used together form the trinity of yoga in Sanskit called the tristhana.
