Employment Opportunities
At Always-At-Aum Yoga School, our commitment to military spouses extends beyond education and training. We are working to create flexible, portable opportunities that allow military spouses to remain professionally connected to our school as they build their careers and move through the unique transitions of military life.
Always-At-Aum has supported military spouses through military education benefits since 2014. As our military community continues to grow, our hope is to create meaningful pathways for graduates to continue working with our school after completing their training.
Community Outreach & Student Referrals
Military spouse graduates may have opportunities to support Always-At-Aum through community outreach and student referrals.
These opportunities are designed to be flexible and location-independent. Participants may receive commission or referral compensation for students they introduce to Always-At-Aum who enroll in eligible programs.
Because this work can be done remotely, the opportunity can potentially continue even when a military family relocates to another duty station.
Future Teacher Trainer Opportunities
Graduating from a yoga teacher training program is the beginning of becoming a teacher. Developing the confidence, experience and skill required to train future yoga teachers takes time.
Military spouse graduates who continue teaching, gain meaningful classroom experience, pursue professional development and demonstrate the qualifications required by Always-At-Aum may eventually be considered for opportunities to join our teacher-training team.
Trainer opportunities are based on experience, qualifications, program enrollment and the needs of the school and are not guaranteed upon graduation.
Our long-term vision is to develop experienced military spouse teachers who may one day help bring Always-At-Aum programs into military communities throughout the United States and abroad.
A military spouse who relocates does not necessarily have to leave this professional relationship behind. A qualified trainer may potentially support online programming or, when appropriate, help facilitate in-person portions of our training programs from the community in which they are stationed.
Why Military Spouse Trainers Matter to Us
We believe military spouses bring something uniquely valuable to this work.
A trainer who has personally experienced military life can understand many of the transitions, uncertainties and responsibilities that military families navigate. That lived experience can bring an additional level of authenticity, compassion and insight when supporting other military spouses through professional training.
Our goal is not simply to help military spouses earn a credential. We hope to create relationships that allow them to continue learning, teaching, earning and growing professionally long after graduation.
A Career That Can Move With You
Yoga and wellness education can offer a level of portability that is particularly valuable for military families.
Graduates may teach independently in studios, fitness facilities, community settings, private settings or online. As opportunities with Always-At-Aum become available, qualified military spouses may also be able to remain connected to our school through outreach, recruitment, teaching and teacher-training roles regardless of where military life takes them.
