Erica is passionate about family, yoga, music, words and nature. She is a yogi who takes great pride in treating everyone around her with kindness and respect, constantly drawing inspiration from all her students, teachers and daily life. Erica has lived in three different countries and is bilingual in English and Spanish, which makes her sensitive to the needs of wide range of communities. She completed the 200-hr teaching certification in the Vinyasa style with Robin Appel at Always-At-Aum Yoga School and is currently completing the 300-hr advanced teacher training. Erica has taught for the school since her graduation in early 2015 and is currently an intern as an instructor in training for their certification programs. She loves sharing her knowledge of yoga with students of all ages and abilities. You can find her teaching yoga to both English and Spanish speaking communities on Long Island in studio or privately. Completing a 20-hr Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Training and a children’s training, Erica has assisted as liaison for the volunteer program for Exhale to Inhale as they expand their program from New York City to Long Island. Exhale to Inhale is an organization that empowers women survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through the healing and grounding practices of yoga.
